Factoids

Grass-fed meat is a lean, flavorful health food. It provides you with high levels of the antioxidant Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA), which may be one of our most potent defenses against cancer. CLA also fights and reduces obesity, heart disease, “bad” cholesterol, adult onset diabetes, and many other ailments.

Weasel Hill Farm Cidery & Orchard

Amissville, VA

Unfiltered apple cider vinegar.

Our cider is raw Arkansas Black Apple vinegar - that is, we don't filter or distill it.  All the bottles have a little residue in it, including some residual "mother."

We have two kinds:  one is juice fermented in a simple, food-grade stainless steel or plastic tank (the same as winemakers use) and another kind aged in oak barrels.

While there are claims that raw cider provides a lot of health benefits (everything from wart removal to acid reflux prevention), we decided to go raw because it simply has more flavor that way.

A note:  it's not organic.  We spray our apples; Virginia has too many bugs, fungi and bacteria to go chemical-free.  But we are into "wise use" of sprays.
We package our vinegar in 12 ounce clear glass bottles with a white plastic screw top.
